Escaping Traffic With Tunnels
Traffic and Los Angeles are almost synonymous. We have more cars than people and some of the worst traffic in the country. The worst traffic is around sporting events, where streets are gridlocked for hours as people arrive and leave at the same time. I was very surprised and honored to have my photograph of Dodger Stadium during the 2017 World Series featured in WIRED's article about Elon Musk's Boring Company trying to solve the traffic issue at Dodger Stadium using tunnels. I'm not sure if we will ultimately get tunnels (since we have a reputation for earthquakes), but I'm really glad that new ideas are being considered!
