Honor of Distinction
I captured the Stealth Bomber (also called the B-2 Spirit) over the 2020 Rose Bowl Game when the bomber was right at the 50 yard line. With the large American Flag unfurled on the field, fans holding up stars in the stands, and the B-2 flying over the 50 yard line, the image really pops.
Even though I've been lucky enough to capture similar scenes before, it is never a sure-thing and always requires a bit of luck -- there is a quote I really like that says "luck is what happens when timing meets opportunity". I'm really happy with how this image turned out and am very proud to be honored with a honor of distinction at the 2021 International Color Awards Photography Competition.
