Turning Hobbies into Side Businesses
I frequently think about how lucky I am that I've been able to turn my hobbies into a side business. Occasionally I get asked if I'm going to retire at some point and it really makes me think "what is the purpose of retirement if I enjoy what I do and it doesn't feel like work in the traditional-sense of having a 9-5 in the office?" My schedule is flexible and I get to work with my son, doing something that we both love to do. What else could I ask for?
