Nine years ago I flew around Los Angeles documenting the various Christmas Day activities of Angelenos throughout the city. This year I decided to go up and see if the city looked very different, as we are currently in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Oddly enough life appears to be relatively normal from the air: people playing paddle tennis, at the beach, golfing, hiking and riding horses. The only difference I noticed was that Universal Studios was completely empty. Hopefully the New Year brings good tidings and things begin to go back to normal!
