Santa Barbara is a beautiful city located 70 miles north of Los Angeles. It is situated between the ocean and a mountain range with the Channel Islands just off shore. The Main Street area is very popular for eating and shopping and just up from the harbor and beach. On the way up there I saw an oil rig surrounded by an area of fog that looked like a scene from a movie.
